Matay Jakob was born on 21 February 1989 and grew up in the „Talkessel“ Schwyz. After obtaining his Matura (Swiss high school certificate) at the Kollegium Schwyz, Mr Jakob pursued university studies in law at the University of Zurich. He graduated (Law) with a magna cum laude degree.

Upon completion of his studies, he undertook his legal internships at the District Court of Schwyz, at a medium sized law firm in Schwyz as well as at the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Schwyz. In 2022, Mr Jakob was admitted to the bar of the Canton of Schwyz. He is listed in the bar register of the Canton of Zug and permitted to conduct litigation before all Swiss authorities and courts.

He enjoys sports (especially football and tennis) and is interested in design and history. He likes to learn new things and discover new places and cultures.
